Charlesworth, Lewandowski & Mann have started the Boeing Way residency, organised by Departure Gallery.

'Boeing Way is a site-orientated contemporary art residency organised by Departure Gallery. The project invites a group of artists to develop their practice in response to their surroundings on an industrial estate in Southall (near Heathrow airport). The artists will each spend 6 weeks making work in a warehouse on the estate, culminating in an on-site exhibition. Despite its status as an international destination, the local characteristics of Heathrow and its bordering towns are generally overlooked by travelers en route to the capital. This residency is an opportunity for artists to readdress the complex identities of such places by investigating the physical, conceptual and aesthetic associations of Boeing Way as inspiration for new departures in their artwork.'
