Charlesworth, Lewandowski & Mann are back in the studio after a series of group exhibitions in Berlin, Liverpool and London - see proposals for future planned projects.
‘Sterling - New London Artists’ took place at the Factory Gallery in Oberschoneweide, East Berlin at the end of September, it was intended as a showcase of the curators pick of artists who graduated from London art schools in 2005. Charlesworth, Lewandowski & Mann exhibited ‘Satellite Race cardboard, or, a spluttering indictment of the total failure of the Soviet system, or, my Trabbi’, a work made specifically for exhibition in East Berlin.
Mid - October in Liverpool saw the opening of ‘Brinksmanship’, an exciting exhibition in Liverpool’s Wolstenholme square during the Biennial as part of the ‘Independents’ programme. Charlesworth, Lewandowski & Mann took part, exhibiting ‘Radio City’ for the first time and seeing some extremely good work from some other people in the show.
Charlesworth, Lewandowski & Mann then moved their attention closer to home for the short exhibition ‘D’, in London’s Docklands, exhibiting ‘Radio City’ and ‘Life Raft’ in the Trinity Buoy Wharf complex.
